WELCOME

We are very excited for the school year ahead. Sevier is positioned to offer an incredible middle school experience full of many opportunities. As you begin your middle school experience, please know that we are here to support you through this journey. We will be working toward making the transition as comfortable as possible.

As educators, we believe every single student can be successful – in school and in life. Of course, that success is largely dependent on the choices surrounding each student. Our primary expectation is a personal best effort from each student.

To assure your student’s success, you can help by:

• Checking your student’s agenda book for the daily homework assignments
• Establishing a routine for doing homework
• Ensuring that your child makes up work missed due to absences
• Making sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats breakfast
• Seeing that your child arrives to school on time (school starts at 7:45)
• Keeping an open line of communication with teachers and attending scheduled conferences
• Notifying the Counseling Center of any changes in address or phone numbers.
